Removing Accumulated Lint From Inside The Dryer Cabinet Whirlpool Duet

Lint accumulation inside the dryer cabinet can be a fire hazard. It is important to clean the lint from the dryer cabinet regularly to prevent fires. The Whirlpool Duet dryer has a lint filter that traps lint from the clothes as they dry. However, some lint may still escape the lint filter and accumulate inside the dryer cabinet. To clean the lint from the dryer cabinet, you will need a vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment.

Step 1: Unplug the dryer. Before you begin cleaning the dryer cabinet, unplug the dryer from the electrical outlet. This will prevent the dryer from starting while you are cleaning it.

Step 2: Remove the lint filter. Locate the lint filter on the front of the dryer. Pull the lint filter straight out of the dryer to remove it.

Step 5: Reinstall the lint filter. Insert the lint filter back into the dryer. Push the lint filter into the dryer until it clicks into place.

Step 6: Plug in the dryer. Plug the dryer back into the electrical outlet.

Step 7: Run the dryer for a few minutes. Run the dryer for a few minutes to make sure that it is working properly. Check the lint filter after running the dryer to make sure that there is no lint accumulation.
